How Coronavirus has affected German football – the latest

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the following games will be played behind closed doors to minimise the risk of it spreading further.

Bundesliga:

2. Bundesliga:

  • Greuther Fürth vs Hamburg
  • Arminia Bielefeld vs Osnabrück

The state of Bavaria has banned spectators from attending events between March 11 and April 19. The Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia has stated that events with more than 1000 attendees must be played behind closed doors whilst there are other restrictions in place throughout Germany.
