Hertha Berlin have this evening announced the signing of 27-year-old Colombian striker Jhon Córdoba from FC Köln on a four-year contract.
FC Köln will receive a fee around €9 million for Córdoba, which will also see 25-year-old midfielder Ondrej Duda move in the opposite direction.
“Jhon has already proven qualities in the Bundesliga and in addition to his goals, he brings exactly the attributes we were looking for: power, dynamism and assertiveness,” said Michael Preetz.
