Hansi Flick: “We made it easy for our opponents & we weren’t dominant.”

Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has reacted to their 4-1 Bundesliga defeat at Hoffenheim.

“It was clear that the time would come at some point,” said Flick. “I don’t blame it all on fatigue. We didn’t manage to create many good chances. Congratulations to Hoffenheim, they were very good today.

“There were several reasons for the defeat but I can’t blame my team for their commitment and willingness. We made it easy for our opponents and we weren’t dominant. We have to take lessons from this game. The focus is now on Wednesday.”

Goals from Ermin Bicakcic and Munas Dabbur put Hoffenheim 2-0 up before Joshua Kimmich brought one back before the break. A brace from Andrej Kramaric sealed it for Hoffenheim.
