Hansi Flick wary of Chelsea: “Frank Lampard is doing an outstanding job.”

Speaking ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash against Chelsea on Saturday evening, head coach Hansi Flick praised the performances of the Premier League club after the restart.

“We have respect and have seen what Chelsea showed after the restart in terms of performances, which were good. It’s important that we have the necessary respect but at the same time go into the game with confidence,” said Flick.

“Frank Lampard is doing an outstanding job and has led the team into the Champions League. I liked the team very much, including the way they played football. It wasn’t an easy situation but they played a good season. I think Chelsea can be very happy with him.”

Flick also confirmed that Kingsley Coman will miss the clash: “Kingsley Coman will not be available tomorrow. With Ivan Perišić and Philippe Coutinho, we have two alternatives that can replace him.”
