Speaking to Sky Germany ahead of Bayern Munich’s Super Cup game vs Sevilla, head coach Hansi Flick has dismissed rumours the Bundesliga club are interested in Mario Götze, who’s available on a free transfer.
“Mario Götze? He’s currently not an option for us. You have to leave it at that,” said Flick. “I’ve always had contact, with my players for the national team, but especially Mario because he had a difficult phase, so he needed special support.”
