Freiburg have rejected RB Leipzig’s initial approach for 23-year-old Germany international Robin Koch, according to local outlet Badische Zeitung.
The Bundesliga club are holding out for a fee close to €20 million, whilst it’s suggested that RB Leipzig’s first offer fell short of their estimation.
With less than 24 hours remaining of the January transfer window, it’s now unlikely that both parties will strike a deal, but a move in the summer is still a possibility.
