Frederik Rønnow (Eintracht Frankfurt) free to negotiate with other clubs

Eintracht Frankfurt confirm today that 28-year-old Danish goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow has been released from training and is free to negotiate a transfer to another club.

According to Kicker, Schalke are interested in signing Rønnow, who’s behind Kevin Trapp in the pecking order at Eintracht, on a season-long loan.

As reported by Sky Germany, Schalke will announce their new head coach on Wednesday morning which would then mean the Bundesliga club can make a push to finalise signings before Monday’s transfer deadline.
