FC Köln plan to extend the contract of head coach Markus Gisdol and sporting director Horst Heldt until at least 2023, according to Bild.
The duo have a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2021 which will be automatically extended by a further year if they avoid relegation.
Gisdol picked up just one point from a possible nine in his first three Bundesliga fixtures in charge but has since won eight, drawn one and lost three.
