Erling Braut Haaland on playing in empty stadiums: “It’s s***.”

Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland discussed playing their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain behind closed doors. BVB went on to lose 2-0 on the night, eliminating them 3-2 on aggregate.

“I missed my fans to be honest, from Dortmund. It was weird to play,” said Haaland.

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Bundesliga have announced that this weekend’s fixtures will be played behind closed doors, including the Revierderby against Schalke.

“It’s s***, it’s as easy as that. I need them, to say it easy,” said Haaland.

The Spanish football federation has today announced that it will suspend La Liga, whilst there are calls for the DFL to do the same.
