RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has agreed to join Bayern Munich in the summer, according to Bild.
However, the Bundesliga club don’t want to pay the €60 million release clause given the current financial situation given the ongoing health crisis.
This poses a problem for RB Leipzig. Upamecano wants to leave in the summer and with just one-year remaining on his contract, the Bundesliga club will have to sell him for less or risk losing him for free the following summer.
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have all shown interest in the Frenchman.
