Speaking after Bayern Munich’s 5-0 thrashing of Fortuna Düsseldorf, 27-year-old David Alaba discussed his contract situation.
“I’m trying to focus on the essentials for now. We have not set a deadline. We’ll see how things go in the coming weeks,” said Alaba.
The Austria international has contributed some stellar performances since his switch to centre-back in order to accommodate Alphonso Davies at left-back.
“He’s a great boy who always gives everything and listens to advice. He always wants to learn something new and enjoys developing himself further,” said Alaba.
