Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has denied that the Premier League club have made a bid for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz.
“He’s a top player but we’re certainly not going to comment on players at other teams,” said Lampard. “It cannot be our focus. No bids have gone in.”
Chelsea have recently announced the signing of RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner for €60 million with numerous reports that London club will look to the Bundesliga once again to strengthen their side.
Bayer Leverkusen have stated recently that they have no need to sell their prized asset and that they will not sell him for less than their €100m valuation.
