A host of Bundesliga clubs have announced that they have suspended training indefinitely, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“It makes sense that the players stay at home for now,” said Borussia Dortmund’s Sebiastian Kehl.
Mainz had expected to train behind closed doors, but a public announcement confirmed that they have also decided to suspend training for the foreseeable future.
“Training operations are suspended for the squad until further notice. All players have been provided with individual training plans in order to implement them in their home environment,” said a club statement.
