Sky Germany report that Borussia Dortmund have identified 19-year-old Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla after observing the youngster.
Chelsea and Manchester United have also shown interest in signing the Albania international, who has featured 12 times in the Serie A for Hellas.
Borussia are looking to improve their defence whilst sporting director Michael Zorc didn’t rule out a January move: “Why should I say that we don’t do anything anymore and suddenly there is an opportunity. Sometimes it works.”
Reports originating from Italy also suggest that Fiorentina are keen to sign Kumbulla on an 18 month loan with a subsequent purchase option.
