Borussia Dortmund have identified 21-year-old PSV attacker Donyell Malen as a replacement for Jadon Sancho should the Englishman leave, according to Sport Bild.
Sancho has a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2023 but just like last summer, the England international is likely to see him heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund once again with Premier League side Manchester United showing substantial interest throughout the last transfer window.
Just like the summer period, Borussia Dortmund are expected to take a strong stance regarding the future of Sancho and only once a club be willing to meet BVB’s asking price, will he then be allowed to leave.
Sancho has created three goals in the Bundesliga this season but has failed to score.
Malen joined PSV’s youth team from Arsenal in 2017 before making his debut a year later. The Dutchman has 40 goals and 17 assists in 89 games in all competitions for PSV.
