Speaking at a press conference, Bayern Munich board member Oliver Kahn is optimistic that David Alaba will sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga club.
“We’re in talks with David and his agents. We’re getting closer. The last conversation was in a very pleasant atmosphere. We as a club are doing everything we can to keep David and David also knows what he has at Bayern. I’m very optimistic we can keep him.”
The 28-year-old has been an incredible servant to Bayern Munich but with just one-year remaining on his current contract, bosses will be hoping they reach an agreement with the defender.
