Speaking to DAZN, Hertha Berlin sporting director Arne Friedrich confirms the Bundesliga club have looked into the possibility of signing Mario Götze on a free transfer but states they’re also looking into other players.
“We are still looking but we still have time and have a few irons in the fire. There are a lot of names that are circulating here at the moment, also from the media. We spend a lot of time looking at players and Mario is definitely a name we’ve looked at. There’s more, but I don’t want to say more about that,” said Friedrich.
