Alexander Nübel underwent his medical at Bayern Munich today ahead of his free transfer from Schalke. The 23-year-old has agreed a five-year deal.
“The first impressions are very, very good. My goal is to constantly develop myself and celebrate my successes with Bayern,” said Nübel.
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić added: “We are very happy that Alexander is with us now. He has decided to move to Bayern and we are sure that we will have a lot of fun with him.
“Alexander is one of the biggest talents. He will continue to develop at Bayern, he gets all the support from us.”
