Ajax have reached an agreement with Bundesliga side Werder Bremen for the return of former player Davy Klaassen, according to Fabrizio Romano.
After submitting a third offer for the 27-year-old Dutchman, only the final details are left to be clarified with this deal expected to be completed before Monday’s transfer deadline.
After Werder Bremen’s 1-0 win against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday, sporting director Frank Baumann confirmed Klaassen would be allowed to depart the club if they received an acceptable fee, believed to be around €15 million.
