Sven Mislintat to leave head of recruitment role at Arsenal

Arsenal have announced that head of recruitment Sven Mislintat will leave the Premier League club on February 8.

Alongside Ivan Gazidis – who left his role as CEO – and Raul Sanllehi, Mislintat played a major role in bringing Unai Emery to the Premier League club however, the German’s position at the club was questioned last week with reports stating he’d too be leaving his role.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sokratis, Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Matteo Guendouzi have all played a major role for Arsenal this season, all of whom arrived in London during Mislintat’s time at Arsenal.

With a major upheaval planned at Bayern Munich, Bild are today reporting that Mislintat’s next role will likely be at the Bundesliga giants.
