Kicker are reporting Schalke 04 have cooled their interest in Belgian forward Dodi Lukebakio.
The 21-year-old spent the season on loan at Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf and will return to parent club Watford, who would be open to selling the youngster.
However, Schalke have been put off by Watford’s €20 million asking price why they are seemingly unwilling to meet his €5m salary demands.
