Schalke sporting director Jochen Schneider has confirmed that both Nabil Bentaleb and Yevhen Konoplyanka are available to leave the club.
“We’ve spoken with Hamza Mendyl and have decided that he will look for a new challenge. The same goes for Nabil Bentaleb and Yevhen Konoplyanka,” said Schneider.
Mendyl joined the club last summer from Lille in a €6m deal while Bentaleb was dropped to the U23 squad on two occasions last season for disciplinary reasons.
