Red Bull CEO Dietrich Mateschitz has warned Bayern Munich that Germany international Timo Werner will not be cheap.
Speaking to Swiss outlet Blick at a Formula 1 testing session in Barcelona, Mateschitz said: “For sure that player [Werner] will not be cheap.”
Werner’s contract expires in June 2020 and with no contract extension on the horizon, RB Leipzig may be forced to sell the 22-year-old for a lower price this summer or risk losing him on a free transfer.
