VfB Stuttgart have announced the signing of 18-year-old Galatasaray defender Ozan Kabak on a five-and-a-half-year deal June 2024 for a reported €12 million.
“I’m very happy that the transfer has been completed. I’m looking forward to meeting my new team-mates, the club, the wonderful fans and sampling the great atmosphere at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. I’ve got big aims that I’d like to achieve in the long term with VfB Stuttgart,” said Kabak.
There had been suggestions that Bayern Munich were involved in the transfer, the same way they were involved in Serge Gnabry’s transfer from Arsenal to Werder Bremen.
