Fortuna Düsseldorf forward Rouwen Hennings has signed a new one-year deal with the Bundesliga club which will see him remain at the Merkur Spiel-Arena until 2021.
“I feel a great trust from my coach, Friedhelm Funkel, as well as the whole environment. That’s why I’m very happy that my path with Fortuna will continue. We have a good chance of staying in the Bundesliga and I will give everything for this goal,” said Hennings.
The 32-year-old has scored 39 goals and created 17 in 106 games for Fortuna Düsseldorf in all competitions since joining the club on a free transfer from Burnley in 2017.
