Werder Bremen & United States forward Josh Sargent has signed a new long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
The 19-year-old had impressed for Bremen’s second team before making the step up into the first team, scoring two league goals in seven games.
“I’m feeling very honoured. The contract extension also shows the club’s trust in me. I’ve felt at home from day one at Werder and in Bremen and I’m looking forward to the coming years,” said Sargent.
