Chelsea have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic for €64 million. The 20-year-old will remain at BVB on a six-month loan deal.
The United States international joined the club as a 16-year-old and has since gone on to feature 115 times for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and assisting 24.
In a statement released on his social media channels, Pulisic said: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be entering my final months at (y)our world-famous club.
I would not be where I am today without the Club and their belief in giving young players a chance. It’s been an honour and a dream to pull on the black-and-yellow in front of the Südtribüne.
I would like to thank all those coaches who I have played under and who gave me these opportunities. And to my amazing teammates through the years: You took me in as a young boy, shared your experience with me, helped me to develop and grow into a professional footballer. For this, I sincerely thank you.”
