After months of speculation, Borussia Dortmund today confirmed the signing of Bayer Leverkusen Julian Brandt on a five-year deal for a reported €25 million fee.
The 23-year-old is the second forward signed by Dortmund today, after Thorgan Hazard was officially unveiled by the club.
Brandt played a key role in Leverkusen’s qualification for the Champions League, contributing 7 goals and 14 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
“I want to develop further. I have ambitious plans with the boys, and I’m both highly motivated and optimistic,” the talented winger told the club’s official website.
