Werder Bremen winger Florian Kainz will undergo a medical at FC Köln on Friday, confirms sporting director Armin Veh.
The 2. Bundesliga reached a deal with Werder Bremen on Tuesday to sign the Austria international as they look to strengthen their side ahead of a potential return to the top flight.
Reports in Kicker on Monday suggest that Kainz will join FC Köln for €2.5 million & will sign a contract until 2022.
