Kicker report Borussia Mönchengladbach continue to monitor Ligue 1 duo Marcus Thuram (EA Guingamp) and Malang Sarr (OGC Nice) following the recent transfer of Breel Embolo.
The Bundesliga club have been monitoring Thuram a number of weeks and are interested in bringing the 21-year-old to Mönchengladbach despite Guingamp’s €20m asking price. Interest in Thuram is high given Guingamp’s relegation.
Borussia Mönchengladbach have also shown an interest in Sarr.
“We want to do something in the attack, we’re also discussing a flexible defender, who is left footed would be optimal. We have to see what can be done,” said head coach Marco Rose.
