Bayern Munich were informed in advance that 23-year-old defender Lucas Hernández would play some part for France during the international period, according to Bild.
Team doctor of the Bundesliga club, Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, had urged the World champions not to play Hernández because of a knee injury.
