Bayern Munich turned down the chance to sign now RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano when Michael Reschke was technical director, according to Sport Bild.
Reschke’s decision not to sign the 20-year-old from RB Salzburg was criticised internally before Upamecano joined RB Leipzig for €10 million in January 2017.
The report suggests that Bayern Munch could now make a move in summer for Upamecano, should they miss out on Atlético Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.
