Bayern Munich have made contact with the entourage of Hoffenheim defender Kevin Vogt regarding a potential transfer, according to Sky Germany.
Head coach Niko Kovač has shown previous interest in the 27-year-old, who can also play as a No. 6 while he could be a potential replacement for Jérôme Boateng should he leave the club.
Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk told Get German Football News last week that Bayern Munich would only considering strengthening their defence if Boateng leaves, following the departure of Mats Hummels to Borussia Dortmund.
