Bayer Leverkusen will complete the signing of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay for €28 million, according to Sport Bild.
The Bundesliga club are ready to pay the German’s release clause, which has since fuelled speculation that Julian Brandt may be departing the club.
Demirbay informed Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen of his decision following their 2-2 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend.
