Bayer Leverkusen are the latest club to be linked with Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri, according to Kicker.
It’s suggested that the 22-year-old German has a €15 million release clause which has also attracted the attention of Wolfsburg and unnamed Premier League and Serie A clubs, believed to be Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma.
Julian Brandt swapped Bayer Leverkusen for Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday for €25 million and it’s speculated that Rudi Völler will make a move for Amiri as a direct replacement.
Hoffeheim however remain hopeful that Amiri will sign a contract extension at the club with just one year remaining on his current deal.
