Arsène Wenger interested in Bayern Munich role

Arsène Wenger is interested in taking charge of the vacant managerial role at Bayern Munich, according to Christian Falk.

Niko Kovač was dismissed on Sunday evening after a 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt in a loss that put the reigning Bundesliga champions in fourth after just ten games.

Per the report, Wenger is willing to take charge of Bayern as interim manager until the summer where a permanent coach will be put in place.

The Frenchman has the advantage over Italian candidate Max Allegri due to the fact he can speak German.
