The 27-year-old has been watched by scouts from the Premier League club on a number of occasions and with just 18 months remaining on his contract, the Bundesliga club may be open to offers if Volland doesn’t show an interest in signing an extension.

Volland joined Bayer Leverkusen for €20 million in 2016 and has played 133 games in all competitions, scoring 45 and creating 29.
