Wolfsburg have completed the signing of AZ Alkmaar forward Wout Weghorst on a four-year contract, Kicker earlier reported the fee to be around €10 million.
“Wout Weghorst has put in consistently good performances in the past couple of seasons with Alkmaar and has come on leaps and bounds. With his style of play and mentality, he should adapt well to the Bundesliga,” said sporting director Jörg Schmadtke.
The 25-year-old has scored 18 Eredivisie goals in 31 games for Alkmaar last season & has reached double figures in his past three campaigns.
