Werder Bremen have announced the signing of Borussia Dortmund defender Jan-Niklas Beste. The 19-year-old arrives for €250,000.
“Niklas is an exciting prospect that can play anywhere on the left side of the pitch. He’s currently recovering from a knee injury, but he will train with the first team once his rehab period is over. It’s likely that he will get the majority of his game time with the U23s this season, however,” said sporting director Frank Baumann.
