Franck Ribery has signed a new one-year deal that will see him remain at Bayern Munich until June 2019.
“We’re very pleased that Franck is staying with us. Franck has once again proven, in the Bundesliga as well as the Champions League and DFB Cup, what excellent performances he’s capable of and the great quality he possesses. As well as that, he’s one of our fan favourites,” sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told the club’s website.
Ribery added: “I am very happy to have another year playing for this big club. Munich has long been home to myself and my family, so I’m very proud to be wearing the Bayern jersey in the new season.”
