Speaking to reporters earlier today, Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovač has acknowledged that their Champions League tie against Liverpool will be tough.
“It’s the toughest draw we could’ve been given. Liverpool were in the final last year, they are currently first in the Premier League and top favourites for the Champions League title.
“But we are Bayern Munich and I’m convinced that Liverpool know they will have to play the second game against us in Munich. Chances are 50-50. Let’s see what happens. I am very confident that we will progress.”
