Schalke midfielder Max Meyer is in talks with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille, according to Bild.
The report claims Arsenal, Liverpool, Atlético Madrid & Fenerbahce weren’t interested in signing the German due to his high wage demands (€3m-€5m), with Marseille now leading the way.
Meyer’s advisor, Roger Wittmann, has links with Marseille with both parties in early talks ahead of a potential move to France.
