Mainz 05 have rejected an offer from an unnamed Premier League club for Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
Sporting director Rouven Schröder confirmed, via Kicker, that Mainz had received an offer higher than the fee they sold Abdou Diallo to Borussia Dortmund for, around €28 million including bonuses.
Both Manchester United & Liverpool have previously shown an interest in the midfielder.
