With reports that Borussia Dortmund are to submit a €20 million bid for Abdou Diallo, Mainz are already preparing for the 2018/19 Bundesliga campaign without the Frenchman.
Talks have taken played between Mainz and RB Leipzig for defender Bernardo, according to Bild, with a move expected to be fetch in the region of €6m.
Mainz sporting director Rouven Schröder has moved quick to find Diallo’s successor, should he leave for Borussia Dortmund, with Arsenal also interested.
