Hamburger SV have opened talks with Jann-Fiete Arp over a contract extension, according to Sport Bild.
The 18-year-old has impressed since making his HSV debut in the Hinrunde, which has created interest from both Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen this window.
Arp’s current contract expires in 2019 while the report suggests HSV have offered the forward a contract until 2022, which has a release clause should the Bundesliga club be relegated.
