Bild report that Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to add Young Boys right-back Kevin Mbabu to their ranks as the transfer window draws to a close.
It’s believed that a deal between Die Adler & Young Boys has already been agreed, with the Bundesliga side paying €8.5 million for his services but any potential deal rests on if Mbabu wants to leave his current club.
The 23-year-old will be no stranger to SGE manager Adi Hütter, as he spent time under the 48-year-old at Young Boys.
Speaking after a Champions League qualifier, Mbabu failed to rule out a potential move stating: “No, I can not promise to stay. There are still three days left. Let’s see what happens there. “
