Following a round of silent protests in September, the German Football League (DFL) have come to the decision to abolish Monday night fixtures from the 2021/22 season.
Instead of Monday night games, the DFL confirmed that these will be replaces by five additional Sunday fixtures once the new TV deal comes into effect in 2020.
