Borussia Dortmund have beat Arsenal and Chelsea to the signing of Barcelona’s Sergio Gomez, according to Kicker.
The 17-year-old is expected to undergo his medical with the Bundesliga tomorrow ahead of a €3 million transfer. Gomez will play the remainder of the season with the U19 squad before coming a part of Dortmund’s first team at the end of the season.
An attacking midfielder, Gomez helped Spain U17s to the World Cup final in 2017, winning the Silver Ball in the process with four goals in seven games.
