Bayern Munich announce partnership with FC Dallas

Bayern Munich have announced that they have formed a strategic partnership with MLS side FC Dallas, in order to bolster youth development.

The clubs will share players, coaching expertise and facilities, in order to aid player development. A series of fixtures will also be arranged for the youngsters, both in Germany and the U.S.A.

“Our intention from the beginning has been to help support the growth of soccer in the U.S., supporting the existing development of players. For us FC Dallas is the ideal partner,” said Bayern executive Jörg Wacker.

Last December, Dallas sent three young players to train with Bayern. Bryan Reynolds (16), Paxton Pomykal (17) and Reggie Cannon (19), were all involved in a 10-day training experience at the Bayern academy.
