Arsène Wenger’s name discussed internally as potential Niko Kovač replacement

Arsène Wenger’s name has been discussed internally as a potential replacement for Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovač, according to Bild.

The latter is under immense pressure following a 3-3 draw against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday which has put them nine points behind league rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeneß has already stated that Kovač will be in charge of Bayern’s Champions League tie against Benfica but then an internal investigation will take place where the Croat could ultimately lose his job.
